Dear organizer,
I'm David Albandea, a PhD student at University of Valencia, and I would
like to apply for finantial support for the 39th Lattice Conference
taking place in Bonn. Although I have a grant from the Comunitat
Valenciana to do my PhD, this grant has no finantial support for travels
to conferences.
In the last Lattice Conference, held in Zoom by MIT, I presented a
parallel talk with name "Improved topological sampling for lattige gauge
theories" under the topic "Algorithms". There, I exposed my work on the
construction of a new algorithm which improved the topological freezing
problem in a U(1) gauge theory, with and without fermion content.
For this conference I would like to give a new parallel talk with an
update of my studies during the last year on new sampling methods.
Concretely, I would like to show results on how a combination of HMC and
equivariant flows could be a useful tool to sample gauge theories with
topology, and I would highly appreciate any finantial support.
The title for the parallel talk would be: "Learning trivializing flows"
Thank you a lot in advance,
David
