Dear organizer,
My name is Alessandro De Santis and I am a first-year PhD student in
physics from the University of Rome Tor Vergata (Italy). At the moment
my research activity mostly concernes the application of machine
learning techniques to the spectral reconstruction from lattice QCD
correlation functions and data analysis of data produced in Monte Carlo
simulations. More generally, I am interested in computational physics
and non-perturbative approaches to quantum field theory by means of
numerical simulations. My interests match with the conference programme
and I see it as great opportunity to meet the scientific community,
share experience and get acquaintance with the latest advances in the
field. Moreover, this is for me the first time to join a conference
about the topic and I think it would be great to attend in person. In
order to make this possible I would be grateful if I could take
advantage of the reduced conference fee and access to cheap
accomodations.
The (working) title of the presentation I intend to give is “R-ratio
from lattice electromagnetic current-current correlators”. A statement
of support by my supervisor, Nazario Tantalo
Nazario.Tantalo at roma2.infn.it, will follow soon after to the same email
address.
I look forward to hearing from you soon and please let me know is any
further information is needed.
Kind regards,
Alessandro De Santis
