Hello (my adviser, Anna Hasenfratz, cc'd),

The following is an application for a reduced conference fee for Lattice
2022. Anna has sent over her statement of support; however, I have also
included it below.

*Motivation:*

I am a graduate student at the University of Colorado Boulder. I am paid by
the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship. With the conference fee added onto
travelling expenses, the cost of attending the lattice conference takes up
a sizable amount of my monthly stipend. I hope to receive a reduced
conference fee to lighten the financial impact of attending this year's
lattice conference.

Ten flavor gradient flow anomalous dimensions with moebius domain wall
fermions

*Statement of Support:*

Curtis Peterson has requested financial assistance to attend the Lattice
meeting.
I hope you can grant his application.
Curtis is a 3rd year graduate students working with me. He has done several
projects and presented his work
on the beta function of the pure gauge SU(3) system in last year’s online
meeting.
He gave a  well-organized talk, and has contributed to the proceedings as
well.

This year Curtis aims to talk about a new area, the study of the running
anomalous dimension in the conformal 10-flavor system.
The talk will present a new way to analyze lattice data for this important
quantity and discuss the implications for the
partial-compositness scenario, an important concept to generate light
fermion masses in composite Higgs models.
Curtis has the necessary data and should easily complete the analysis by
the time of the conference.
