 To whom it may concern,

My name is Julian Mayer-Steudte, and I am writing to request a reduced fee registration for the 39th International Symposium on Lattice Field Theory in Bonn in 2022.
I am a PhD student in my first year at the Technical University of Munich in the research group of Prof. Dr. Nora Brambilla. We perform lattice QCD at non-zero temperature and for determining standard model parameters. In my master's thesis, I already did lattice calculations and had the chance to present my results at the Lattice Symposium last year. In the meantime, we have further developed our methods, and I am happy to present our recent results in a talk with the title "Implications of gradient flow on the static force".
Furthermore, I want to get in touch with other researchers using different algorithms and methods, to have an active exchange and discussion, because during my PhD research I want to develop and adapt new methods for our research field.
