[Support-lattice2022] Financial support

Dear organisers of Lattice 2022,

I write to request financial support for attendance at Lattice 2022.
I apologise for the delay in this email, as there was a miscommunication between my supervisor and myself as to who would submit this letter and when.

I am an Australian student at the University of Adelaide and I am undertaking a lattice QCD component of my PhD thesis.
I hope to offer a talk on my work with SU(3)f flavour breaking of B and Bs mesons with weighted average fitting techniques,
The opportunity to go to Bonn would be my first ever in-person international conference and I am eager to finally experience presenting my research live to collaborators, especially as I have missed out on previous opportunities due to the pandemic. Furthermore, as I am nearing completion of my Ph.D., attendance at this conference will allow me to network and find potential employers.

The plane ticket from Australia to Germany will already be quite costly, so any financial support in the way of a reduced conference fee would be appreciated greatly. Realistically, it will only be with this concession that my institution will be able to afford my travel.
I note that when I remotely attended Lattice 2021, there were diversity breakfasts held. As a woman in Physics, I would also be very eager to help out with any diversity and inclusion events, if another event like this is planned.

My Ph.D. supervisor, Ross Young, has also sent an email supporting my application.
