To whom it may concern,

my name is Alessandro Barone and I am a 3rd year PhD student in Theoretical Physics at the University of Southampton. I am working in the Lattice QCD group and I am supervised by Prof. Andreas Juttner.
I am writing to apply for a fee reduction to participate in this year's conference. I am in the final years of my PhD, and participating in the conference would allow me to present my research to the lattice community and interact with other researchers from all over the world. I plan to submit an abstract for a presentation titled "Inclusive semi-leptonic B(s) meson decays from Lattice QCD". However, being an early-stage career researcher, I receive limited financial support from my home institution; a reduction in fees would help me a lot in the organization of the trip to Bonn and in the management of my research funds.

My supervisor (in cc) will send you a separate statement of support for my application.
