Dear Lattice-2022 team,
First of thank you for organising this year’s event!!
I fully support Alessandro’s application for financial support — he is in his 3rd year of a 4-year PhD programme and he is envisaging an academic career.
After two years of pandemic this will be one of his first opportunities for showing off his excellent work on inclusive B decays to the wider lattice community. His attendance is important for him since he is planning to apply for postdocs this fall.
I hope you can support his attendance at the conference.
Kind regards,
Andreas

I am in the final years of my PhD, and participating in the conference would allow me to present my research to the lattice community and interact with other researchers from all over the world. I plan to submit an abstract for a presentation titled "Inclusive semi-leptonic B(s) meson decays from Lattice QCD". However, being an early-stage career researcher, I receive limited financial support from my home institution; a reduction in fees would help me a lot in the organization of the trip to Bonn and in the management of my research funds.
